Discovering Shetland
The Shetland is the cute pony, just right for your children. It's the perfect companion for discovering horse riding. On the Silvana track, you'll have the chance to meet Shetland horses and learn all about carriage driving and working on foot. And new this year, a Shetland show jumping demonstration, not to be missed! To get hands-on experience, head to the Pony Club in Hall 1, bay 23. A place to discover horse-riding for 4 to 12 year-olds.
Introduction to horse ball
For children aged 6 to 12, discover Horse Ball, a discipline that pits 2 teams of 6 riders against each other, with 4 on the field and 2 substitutes. Without ever dismounting from their pony/horse, players pick up a ball with six leather handles and, through a game of passing, attacking and defending, send it into the goals fixed high up at the ends of the pitch.
A balancing act, acrobatics
In this demonstration, you'll discover circle acrobatics, in which one or more acrobats ride a horse at walk or gallop, held in a lunge. The horse is equipped with a surffaix and a wide mat, enabling the acrobats to perform a series of figures in which balance and physical skills are fully mobilized.
Time to go shopping!
After a well-deserved break in one of the horse show restaurants, it's time for a shopping spree through the aisles of Hall 1. Here, 230 exhibitors offer a wide range of quality products. Tailor-made saddles, show articles, clothing for beginners and professionals, as well as stable equipment: as you stroll through the aisles, you're sure to come across a few nuggets...
La Femme Chaussette, a show for all ages
Discover the "Élégance" number, a show where the complicity between human and animal is revealed in all its forms. At the heart of the adventure is Mathilde, known as "La femme chaussette", accompanied by her faithful mare, Vizir. This Ariège horse, born in the heart of the mountains, is finally back on the show circuit after an injury last year. To complete the picture, Djazz and Helliot, ponies as modest as they are graceful, join Mathilde to create an atmosphere full of magic and lightness. Together, they demonstrate that true elegance is not measured in size, but in charm and harmony. Adding a touch of technique and creativity, Aida and Florentin from Compagnie Onalesta join the show. Their Cossack acrobatics, Iberian horse training and belted reins bring a unique artistic dimension to Élégance, transforming every moment into an equestrian dance. Fauno, Aida's lifelong show horse, is now slowly approaching retirement, so it's an honor to introduce you to the young Bullanguero (pronounced Boulanguéro), who joined us just 4 months ago. Élégance invites you to enjoy a warm and authentic experience, where simplicity meets grace in a memorable show.and will be accompanied by acrobats.
